Aspire Monthly Newsletter

March 2023

We kicked off our One School, One Book event and will be reading Fenway and Hattie throughout the month!

Ms. Farda has been visiting bi-weekly for our continued Social-Emotional Learning lessons.  The students especially enjoy when Ms. Farda incorporates music and her singing bowl into the lessons.

We are excited to learn about Dr. Seuss, celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and for the coming of Spring.

Mrs. Kolkmann’s class will be participating in lots of fun Dr. Seuss activities, including making Oobleck and reading lots of rhyming books.  We will also celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with some Lucky Charms sorting.  Stay tuned to see how we will kick off our start to Spring!

Mrs. Oddo’s class will be celebrating Dr. Seuss’s birthday by reading books and doing a Cat in the Hat craft.  We will also be learning about St .Patrick’s Day and will participate in St. Patrick’s Day shenanigans. We will also learn all about spring.

Ms. Mann’s class will be celebrating Dr. Seuss’s birthday. We will be doing a Cat in the Hat craft and making Oobleck.  We will try to catch a Leprechaun with a trap and learn how to dance an Irish Jig. We will also be talking about healthy foods and choices we can make for National Nutrition Month.

Mrs. Luther’s class is looking forward to celebrating March with Dr. Suess’s birthday and St. Patrick’s Day. March is also National Nutrition Month. We will complete our unit about healthy foods and habits!

We continue to try to get outside as often as possible.  Please be sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather.
