Nominate an Employee

Do you know someone in the District who makes Lakeland a better place?
Do you know someone who exemplifies the District's Mission, Core Beliefs and Vision?
These individuals are “Mission Essential.”

We recognize and appreciate that the Lakeland Central School District is rich with talented and dedicated employees. EVERY staff member has an important role, responsibility and stake in the safety, security and success of our students.

The goal of the Employee Recognition Program is to identify and recognize employees who, in their contributions and service to the District, exemplify our Mission, Core Beliefs and Vision. These individuals are “Mission Essential.”
 
Staff, students and community members can nominate District employees.  All employees are eligible for nomination. Nominations will be made via an easy to use form (click on the "Nominate An Employee" button above to complete the form) and reviewed monthly by a committee comprised of District stakeholders. Nominees selected by the committee will receive formal recognition of their “Mission Essential” qualities and/or contribution. One employee will be selected each month. Anyone not selected will be reconsidered in the next review.

The Lakeland Central School District will work collaboratively with all members of the community to promote cooperation, collegiality, and a love of learning so all can achieve to their fullest potential. We will focus on the whole person academically, socially, and emotionally. We also work to ensure safety and security and inspire all to communicate honestly to achieve our goals.
