Collective Bargaining Units 
  
Lakeland Central School District employees are represented by one the following collective bargaining units:

• The Lakeland Federation of Teachers (LFT) represents the school district’s non-supervisory professional day-school personnel, specifically, classroom teachers, special teachers, summer school teachers, librarians, psychologists, guidance counselors, social workers, and permanent substitute teachers appointed to regular positions.
• The Association of Lakeland Administrators (ALA) represents the school district’s professional administrative and supervisory employees, specifically, principals, assistant principals, supervisors, and Directors of Curriculum (DOCs).
• The Lakeland Federation of Nurses (LFN) represents the school district’s registered nurses and registered nurse supervisors. The Board of Education has recognized the Lakeland Federation of Teachers (LFT) as the exclusive and sole bargaining representative for these employees.
• The Civil Service Employee Association, Inc., Local 1000 (CSEA) represents all of the school district’s classified employees, specifically, classified clerical, custodial, transportation and food service workers.
• The Confidential Management Association represents a number of central office and districtwide executive and supervisory positions at varying levels.
