The Lakeland Central School District Budget and BOE Trustee Vote Results 
Shrub Oak, NY (May 16, 2023) —The Lakeland Central School District Board of Education held the 2023-2024 Budget Vote and School Board Trustee Election on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Van Cortlandtville Elementary School. Please see below for results.

Propositions
1. The $184,539,324 budget passed by a vote of 944 to 306
2. The vehicle purchase proposition passed by a vote of 960 to 286

Board of Education Trustee Election: Donald Pinkowsky, Christopher Eustace, and Bryan Hoben were elected to 3-year terms on the Board of Education (expiring June 30, 2026).

• Michael Marx - 590 
• Bryan Hoben - 664
• Donald Pinkowsky - 842
• Christopher Eustace - 810
• Joseph Ascanio (write-in) – 134
• Genie Mueller (write-in)- 9

The Board certified the results at the May 18, 2023 Board of Education Business meeting at 7:30 PM at Lakeland Copper Beech Middle School, Cafeteria B.

2023- 2024 Budget  and Trustee Vote: Tues., May 16, 2023, at VCES from 7 AM to 9 PM
In order to vote, you must be a US Citizen, at least 18 years old by May 16, 2023, a School District resident for 30 days immediately preceding the vote, and registered with the Westchester or Putnam Counties Board of Elections or registered to vote in School District elections and having voted in any School District election/vote during the past 4 calendar years.  If you are not registered, you can register with the County Board of elections by mail or remotely through the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles website at https://dmv.ny.gov/more-info/electronic-voter-registration-application
