I received my Bachelor's degree in Music Education from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam, with an emphasis on percussion. I went on to study Humanistic/Multicultural Education at SUNY New Paltz and received a Masters of Professional Studies and a Certificate of Advanced Study in School Leadership from SUNY New Paltz.
I have performed with the 2002 NYSSMA All-State Instrumental Jazz Ensemble, the New York Wind Symphony at Carnegie Hall, the Danbury Orchestra, the Coasters, and the Crane Faculty Jazz Quartet with Jerry Bergonzi.
I have also composed and arranged works for mixed chorus, string orchestra, and jazz band.
This year, we had a student selected to the 2015 NAfME All-Eastern Honors Band. Cliff Soloway was chosen to play Bari Sax in this most prestigious regional ensemble. Congratulations, Cliff!
