AASL Standards for the 21st Century Learner
The American Association of School Librarians' Standards for the 21st-Century Learner acknowledge the key role of information literacy in student learning and that school library media programs must address multiple literacies. They will help students become skillful producers and consumers of information along with the guidelines and principles that will help school library media specialists create a dynamic, student-centered program.
