In accordance with the Yorktown Police Department, we have changed the traffic pattern at dismissal to create a safer environment for students and parents.


Pick up at dismissal:
• Enter ONLY at the south entrance, near the Alternative High School. Make an immediate right into the lower parking lot. ONLY buses will be allowed to enter the north entrance from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m.

• Drive from the lower parking lot to the middle parking lot to pick up your child.

• Exit from the south driveway only. New Traffic Pattern Map

Please note:
• NO ONE will be allowed to pick up near the 8th grade wing. This area is for school vans ONLY!

• Once buses begin moving, all cars will be stopped to allow the buses to exit.Once all buses have exited the parking lot, cars will be allowed to continue moving.

Please remember, this change has been made for the safety and security of our children.
