The meeting is open to the public and there two opportunities for public comment. Go to the public comment guidelines. These are the official results. Budget: YES-872; NO-334. Three Board of Education incumbent trustees were re-elected; Elizabeth Kogler (1030 votes), Steven Korn (1005 votes), and Steve Rosen (1001 votes). The proposed budget totals $160,364,916. NYS May Testing Dates Lakeland Central School District, Lakeland Copper Beech Middle School, Benjamin Franklin Elementary School, George Washington Elementary School, Lincoln-Titus Elementary School, Thomas Jefferson Elementary School, Van Cortlandtville Elementary School, Home Page News Only NYS Science Performance Test Grades 4 and 8 will be held May 22 through May 31. Changes to the Final Week of School Schedule Lakeland Central School District, Lakeland Copper Beech Middle School, Benjamin Franklin Elementary School, George Washington Elementary School, Lincoln-Titus Elementary School, Thomas Jefferson Elementary School, Van Cortlandtville Elementary School As a result of the many school closings during the year, we will have to adjust the calendar for the final week of school. Wednesday, June 19 will be a full day for the elementary schools. On Thursday, June 20 and Friday, June 21 elementary schools will dismiss one hour early at 1:40 PM. They were originally scheduled as shortened days.
