Student responding to online survey.
"Student opinions matter!"

Along with students across the country, Lincoln-Titus students "spoke up" to the national education community on how technology and the Internet should be used in schools . The students completed an online survey sponsored by Net Day, a national non-profit organization. The survey consisted of questions and written responses on how
K-12 students use technology for their schoolwork and how they use technology just for fun.

Results will be available after the survey closes on November 12, 2004, and a national report will be issued within six months. Last year, the Speak Up Day results were shared with local, state, and national leaders including the President of the United States. Student opinions were used to help make decisions about technology in schools. To learn more about NetDay, please visit their web site at http://www.netday.org.
