A & J'S COOKBOOK

We love to eat the foods our mothers’ prepare for our families. Here are two of our favorite recipes; B.B.Q. Chicken and English Muffin Pizza. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
English Muffin Pizzas prepared and baked by Ashear and John

1 packet of English muffins, 1 jar of pizza sauce, and
1 16 oz. package of grated part skim mozzarella cheese

English Muffin Pizzas
We enjoyed making English Muffin Pizzas.
These photographs will help you make them too!


1. Always wash your hands before handling
and preparing food.

2. Split the English Muffins in halves.

3. Place the muffins on a cookie sheet in a
400 degree oven for approximately
2 minutes or until edges are golden.


4. Remove the muffins from the oven and let cool.


5. Spread 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce over each muffin. You can add any toppings on the sauce such as pepperoni, mushrooms, etc.


6. Sprinkle grated cheese over each muffin.


7. Bake the English Muffin Pizzas in a 400 degree oven until the cheese melts.

8. Let the pizzas cool before eating!

B.B.Q. Chicken Recipe
by John’s mom

1 pound of skinless boneless chicken breast, 1 jar of B.B.Q. sauce
Marinade the chicken in the sauce for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator.
Grill the chicken on medium heat on each side for 10 to 15 minutes.
