Kindergarten begins the public school experience for most parents and children.

It is important that the experience fosters a positive self-image by providing developmentally age appropriate learning experiences. It is the foundation for all future learning. The Kindergarten curriculum strives to accommodate individual needs and stages of development.

Social and emotional development are a major focus in the world of a kindergartner.  Through a structured environment the children are encouraged to learn to function as independent individuals as well as members of a group. They begin to view the world beyond themselves, to cooperate  and to allow for differences.

Kindergarten children learn by actively participating in the process. Hands on learning experiences are a must for children to understand the material presented. Through a multi-sensory approach, learning is presented in a fun, concrete manner in which the child is an active participant. Allowances are made to meet the individual needs of each child.

Our program strives to meet the academic and social needs of each child. Through our nurturing program we try to help each child develop a positive self-image.  This positive feeling lays the foundation for all future learning. With your support we can make this a successful year.

If you have any questions please feel free to call. If we work together we can provide for a successful start for each child's school experience.
