Fourth graders planted 3 beds of herbs the week before Memorial Day in the Outdoor Classroom's Colonial Herb Garden with the help of Mrs. Peckham, Ms. Armstrong and Mrs. Canini. Lavendar, chives and thyme were planted and the beds were watered and mulched with enthusiasm by all the students.A fourth bed will serve as a "kitchen garden" with various herbs and companion flowers donated from the gardens of teachers and students.
