Theodore Roosevelt -
26th President of the United States

As the 26th President of the United States, Theodore Roosevelt was a strong leader devoted to protecting the American people and their land. As a son of a wealthy New York family, Theodore was born in New York City on October 27, 1853. His parents taught him the value of family and the importance of being a responsible citizen. Roosevelt practiced these lessons throughout his life. He was a man with a great deal of energy and determination. Some might have said he could be stubborn. Also, Roosevelt loved adventure and the outdoors!
