| Ra, also known as Re,
was the king of all the gods and was known as "The Sun God". The
Ancient Egyptians believed that Ra was swallowed every night by the sky
goddess Nut, and was reborn every morning.
He was represented as a falcon headed man. He was known to sail across the heavens in his boat called the " Barque of Millions of Years." |
