Vase
Vases were a sign of beauty in Egyptian homes.  Many families felt that when company came, flowers brought out the beauty of the home.  Both wealthy and poor families displayed vases throughout their homes.  A common place for a vase was a dining room table.

Tableware
Egyptians used these vessels for water, wine, and beer.  Some were decorated with designs and hieroglyphics.  A material called faience was used to make the vessels.
