Chair
An ebony chair inlaid with ivory. The legs of chairs were so short that people sat in a controlled position. These chairs were used for everyday events. They were placed in bedrooms of ordinary people, and the bedrooms of the pharaohs.

Bed
Beds were rare and usually wealthy people owned them.  They were made of cord springs woven around the poles on  each side.  The poles were six feet long and made from iron.  Mattresses were  soft cushions stuffed with feathers with over 60 feet of cloth wrapped around the cushions.
