District Parents' Council
The District Parents’ Council of the Lakeland Central School District provides a vital link between the Board of Education, the Superintendent of Schools, the individual schools themselves, and the parents of the Lakeland community. The purpose of the Council is to establish and maintain direct, open, objective communication among the parents, school, district office, and Board of Education to provide a forum for the exchange of information, ideas and concerns among the parent organizations, the schools, the district office and the Board of Education among the parent organizations themselves; to create and continue cooperative efforts for a quality education in the Lakeland Central School District.
