Public Activities Involving Staff. Students or School Facilities
1313 Gifts to School Personnel

Parents or students who wish to express appreciation for the work of an employee of the District are encouraged to write personal letters of appreciation or make a small donation to a school-related organization (e.g., PTA/PTO, Lakeland Education Foundation) in honor of that employee.

Any gift-giving will be in accordance with law and Section VI of the District’s “Code of Ethics” (Policies 2510 and 8251).
