Writer's Workshop

Writer's workshop allows students to write for real purposes. The workshop begins with a mini-lesson on skills and strategies such as grammar and mechanics. While students are writing, some are conferencing with me. Students share their pieces at the conclusion of the workshop. We discuss and reflect upon our work.
