Shark Attack by Jeanne Betancourt

In the beginning of Shark Attack a lady wanted to swim in the ocean. There is nothing wrong with that, except that there was no lifeguard on duty that day and a shark had been spotted. She thought the surf was calm, but it really wasn't. Then she went in. I don't think that the lady is smart, because she is going in the water at the wrong times.

For example, there is no lifeguard watching her to make sure it is safe and also a shark was spotted which means her life will be in danger, only if she goes in.

In the middle of the story is when the problem starts. The woman goes in the water but only up to her waist. Little did she know her life was still in danger. Soon a strong undertow pulled the lady off her feet and pulled her under the water. She swallowed big mouthfuls of the water. All of those gulps were now in her lungs. She was flung head over heels. The woman was trying to fight the undertow by trying to swim, but soon she couldn't breathe. She wasn't even trying to swim. Next she was face down in the water. She looked up once to find a shark was in the water near her. Then she saw a dolphin. She again was gone under the water. The shark came nearer and nearer. Then BAM! The dolphin hit the shark's gills. Next the dolphin picked up the lady and put her on his back. He came close to shore, but not all the way because doing that is bad for the dolphin. A man on the shore had seen everything that happened.

In the ending when the woman got up. She asked the man what had happened to her in the ocean. The man told the lady about the dolphin and the shark and how she got back to the shore. I think the man was brave to tell her the truth about what really happened because if she did not believe him the lady might yell at him for not telling the truth even though he was telling the truth. Lucky for the man the lady believed him. I think the woman was lucky because the shark didn't eat her and also because she can learn a lesson. The lesson is you should always follow rules.

I recommend this book to anyone who wants a true story about shark attacks and how another animal saved a human's life.
