The first grade students in Ms. Visconti and Ms. Hawlk's classes learned about the first Thanksgiving with the Pilgrims and the Native Americans.  They made connections between the first Thanksgiving celebration and how their families celebrate Thanksgiving.  Each student drew a picture using KidPix to illustrate their family traditions and explain their picture in this podcast.  The children also learned a Thanksgiving song that you can listen to at the end of the podcast.  The song is "Gobble, Gobble", by Dr. Jean.  Please enjoy our Thanksgiving Podcast!
