Bibliography Samples
 
A bibliography is a list of the sources you use when you gather information for a report. Every time you use a source - whether it is an encyclopedia, book, magazine, or internet site - you should record the needed information immediately.
 
Remember, not all bibliographic information may be available for each source. You can only use what is available!
 
Definition of Term
  • bibliography: a list of sources about a topic
  • style sheet: guide that shows the correct format for a bibliography
  • source: place where information was found
  • citation: information identifying source in the correct order and style
  • entry: one citation
