Welcome to Thomas Jefferson Elementary School

" Together for Children"
As part of Character Education students define the themes of the
month in their own words. Students then read their morning message
to the school each morning. Here are some morning messages.
Also check out morning message podcast.

Salma's Morning Message

May is Self-Discipline month, and i would like to share with you what Self-Discipline means to me:

Self discipline means to me that sometimes when you want to do thing that are unnecessary, it takes self discipline to not do it. For example, you can use self discipline by raising your hand and waiting to be called on instead of calling out. Self-discipline also means that you should pay attention to your teacher instead of paying attention to the things in your desk. That's what self-discipline means to me.

Rick's Morning Message

May is Self-Discipline month, and i would like to share with you what Self-Discipline means to me:

Self-discipline means to me that when you feel like you want to do something that is not showing self-control and you know it's wrong, you should not do it. Like when you're playing a game by pushing or shoving but not intending to hurt someone. They can still get hurt by accident so don't do it!
