Next Board of Education Meeting, Tuesday, May 20, 2008: The Board of Education will hold its regular business meeting on May 20, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. at Van Cortlandtville Elementary School, E. Main Street, Mohegan Lake. The meeting is open to the public and there are two opportunities for public comment. Click here for the public comment guidelines. The meeting will begin with an executive session. The board will meet and consider a vote to enter executive session at that time. The board is expected to return to public session at 7:30 p.m. |

District Named Pioneer Award Winner: Lakeland has been awarded the 2008 LHRIC Pioneer Award for Districts which is presented by the Lower Hudson Regional Information Center. The Pioneer Awards are given every year to a school district, administrator and teacher in Westchester, Rockland and Putnam counties. The awards are in recognition for innovative uses of technology that change teaching and learning. Click here for more information. |
