LHS MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS
Today is Thursday, March 23, 2017    
Cycle "A" Day 
 

Congratulations to our Pioneer Team who defeated Carmel yesterday in a very exciting game.   Go Pioneers!

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING CHANGES:

  • The door at the end of the English Hallway will no longer be unlocked before the start of the school day.
  • STUDENTS must enter through the front of the building ONLY.
  • FACULTY & STAFF, please use doors designated for FACULTY & STAFF.

The LHS Weight Room will now be open every school day, Monday through Thursday, from 2:30 to 4:00 pm for the remainder of the school year.

Tryouts for Freshman baseball will take place next week, Monday – Thursday, from 4 to 6:00 pm at Thomas Jefferson.  The shuttle bus will leave LHS at 3:25, stop at LCB and then to TJ.

There will be an Italian Club meeting after school today in room 227.  All are welcome to attend!

Attention all FBLA members, we are having a meeting at 2:30 today in room 202.  All members are expected to attend!

All Mock Trial members must see Ms. Nigro before the end of the day today.

The Sophomore Class is hosting a Badminton Tournament tomorrow at 6:30 pm.  If you are interested in playing, please see Mr. Novak.  The cost to register is $5.00.

There will be a United Nations Culture Club meeting tomorrow at 2:00 pm in room 152.

If you are trying out for the Lakeland  Freshmen Baseball Team there will be a mandatory meeting tomorrow at 4:30 pm in the boys locker room.

The GSA meeting scheduled for this Friday has been canceled.

Attention Lakeland, the Blood Drive is coming back to LHS on Tuesday, March 28th.  Any student who is interested in donating must see Ms. Hauser in room 206 or 213 for permission slips and other material and important information.

It’s not too late to get a copy of The Handmaid’s Tale from the LHS Library.  Read it now!  A book discussion will be held right after school on April 4th with refreshments provided.

DON’T FORGET TO WEAR BLUE ON APRIL 19TH AND MAKE A DONATION OF $5.00 TO HELP SUPPORT AND RAISE AWARENESS FOR AUTISM.

If you ordered "Class of 2020" apparel, you can pick it up in the Athletic Office.

The Freshman class is selling “Sticky Wallets” for $5.00 in the Fine Arts Hallway by the Cafeteria during 4th period.  Come and check them out!
