Any student wishing to change to a higher level course than what is listed in Home Access for the 2017-2018 school year, needs to have an academic advising form completely filled out and returned to Guidance by June 12th. THIS IS A FINAL DEADLINE FOR CHANGING LEVELS WHICH CANNOT BE WAIVED. Forms are available in the Guidance office.
May is Mental Health Awareness month. As awareness of mental illness grows, CODA, which stands for Co-Occurring Disorders Awareness, helps to increase empathy for youth who experience mental health and substance abuse struggles. The Lakeland High School CODA Alliance will be focusing mental health awareness on self-reflection, self-care and creating a supporting community where speaking up about our struggles is a sign of strength and self-awareness.
Senior prom bids are now on sale. The cost of each bid will be $110. Bids will be sold during all lunch periods in the main hallway through June 2. You must have a signed student prom contract and if you are bringing a student who is not a student of Lakeland high school student you must have a signed guest prom contract as well to buy the bid. You may pay the $110 bid price by cash or check. Checks must be made out to the Class of 2017. If you have any questions see Mr. Fallo or Mr. Cappelli.

Students taking SUPA American History next year need to see Mr. Merriam after school in room 179 on Wednesday, May 31ST.
Josten’s will be here on June 1st to take ring and cap & gown orders.
The Parents for Lakeland Organization is hosting a family and friends event at YANKEE STADIUM on Sunday, June 25th at 2:05 pm. Watch the Yankees take on the Rangers at the 71st Old Timers' Day game. Gates open at 10:00 am and ceremonies begin at 11:30 am. Stop in the Main Office for more information.
Any student athlete who intends to participate in a Fall sport should pick up an information sheet from our school nurse Mrs. DeVito or from the main office. Many sports have tryouts or begin practicing in August before school starts and students will need a valid sports card to participate.
If you ordered Class of 2020 apparel, the second order has arrived. Please pick up in the Athletic office.
The Freshman class is selling “Pop Sockets” for $10.00 in the Fine Arts Hallway by the Cafeteria during 4th period.
