AP Exams

Students are expected to take each AP Exam on its scheduled date and time as outlined by College Board.  These exams are difficult in that they reflect the college-level work that occurs throughout the year.  Students who score a 3, 4, or 5 on an AP exam may earn college credits and/or advanced college placement.  The policy concerning AP credit varies from college to college.

As stated in the 2016-2017 High School Program of Studies, the Lakeland School District expects that students enrolled in AP courses take the AP exam for each AP course.  Please note if you choose not to take the exam or to drop the course your Guidance Counselor must be contacted by January 28th, 2017.

To order your exam and register, please visit the Total Registration website:
https://user.totalregistration.net/AP/335187.

Registration will open on December 1, 2016 and each AP Exam will cost $97.  After February 1, 2017 there will be a late registration period, ending on February 17, 2017.  During the late registration period each AP Exam will cost $110.

Here are the important dates for the registration process:

  • Thursday, December. 1, 2016 at 2:11 PM - Registration Begins
  • Thursday, February. 2, 2017 at 3:03 PM - Registrations and payments after this date will incur a $13 late fee per exam.
  • Friday, February 17, 2017 at 2:11 PM - Registration Ends
  • Monday, February 20, 2017 at 2:11 PM - Registrations that have not been paid for will be canceled and exams will not be ordered.

If you have any questions regarding the AP Exams or the registration process please contact Alfonse Davino at 914-528-0600.
