Activity 1:

The Mystery Address - Mail persons and visitors have a difficult time finding this house. There are no numbers that show the address. The problem is easily solved. The homeowners will go to the store and purchase some numbers. They will mount them right next to the front door. Your job is to solve the following clues to figure out which numbers they should buy.

  • The address has three different digits.
  • The first digit is greater than four.
  • The product of the first two digits is twelve.
  • The sum of the three digits is seventeen.
  • What is the address?
