• There were no leaves on the tree or on the ground.
• We saw some birds in the tree.
• The bark is cracked and bumpy but some parts are smooth.
• The branches look gray/brown with red at the ends.
• There are little bumps at the ends - maybe this is where the new leaves will come.

Predictions for the tree in April:

• It will have lots of leaves. (Ryan)
