Our Tree in Autumn

Fall Tree

Our class has adopted a class tree. Our tree is a Norway maple tree. The leaves of our tree are purple, red, rust, green and yellow. The trunk is bumpy. There are three scars on our tree. The scars show where three branches were cut. The circumference our our tree is 54 inches.

Spring Tree

On May 7, 2008 we observed our tree. Our tree has many rust colored leaves and many dark purple "helicopters" hanging from the branches. Green moss is growing on our tree. We measured the circumference of our tree. Our Norway maple looks beautiful in the spring.
