Our Tree in Autumn

Our tree is very large. It is right outside our classroom windows, so we can check on it often. The students have described it as tall, big, and having 9 trunks! On the other side of the tree there are nine smaller trunk pieces that come out of the base of the tree. The leaves are turning yellow and some have already fallen to the ground. We enjoyed collecting leaves.

Our Tree in Winter

Here we are in the cold snow! We can't believe how much snow we've had this Winter, but we sure have fun in it! We’ve had a day off school because the temperature was so far below zero.  We've had warm days, snowy days, freezing days, and rainy days.  We even had a thunder/lightning storm the other night! Guess you know never what will happen when you live in Wisconsin!

Our Tree in Spring

Finally we can see green!!! We had a LONG, COLD, SNOWY Winter and are

so glad it’s finally over! We have had a slow start to Spring with cold

days and even snow at the end of April! We are so happy that we can

finally go out for recess without jackets!!

We had some really windy days and even a tornado near us.  The tornado siren went off and we all add to go in our basements at home.  When we went to visit our tree, we found HUGE branches on the grass! There aren’t any leaves yet, just buds!
