Our Tree in Autumn

Fall Tree

Here are some interesting things we noticed about our Fall tree:

  • Jake noticed that the tree is easy to climb. He also said that there are not many leaves on the tree. Last, he said that the tree seemed peaceful.
  • Taylor noticed that the bark was rough and brown. She also said that all the leaves that were still on the tree were green.
  • Many of us noticed that the leaves were falling to the floor, turning brown, drying out, and dying.
  • As a class, we observed that the trunk of the tree was wide, thick, and rough. It has four large branches coming out of the main trunk. We had a great time making all of our observations!

Our Tree in Winter
Winter Tree

Here are some interesting things we noticed about our Winter tree:

  • Julia noticed it was dripping with droplets of water.  She also said it was bare and had no leaves.
  • Steven noticed that the tree has no leaves and that now you can really observe the branches and their texture.
  • Gaby noticed that the tree was wet and had some spots of the bark that were green and white.
