Nations CyberSchoolbus This site is designed to be a global teaching and learning project and there is lots here to explore. The curriculum guide on the right has a section, "Cities of the World" that is quite comprehensive and deals with issues such as urban expansion and the consequences of urbanization. |

with Historic Places From the National Parks Service, this site contains lessons, documents and resources and uses historic places to explore American history. There is a searchable database; browsing by theme will probably result in the best "fit." |

CanadaInfo Over 400 pages of information about Canada: government, history, facts, people, security, geography, provinces, symbols, and more. A well-organized and comprehensive site. |

Atlas of Canada A very extensive site provides a huge assortment of maps of Canada. There are lesson plans and a curriculum guide. Especially useful may be the section, "Territorial Evolution" that includes over a dozen maps of Canada from 1867 to 1999. |
