our partner class, Mrs. Visconti's at Van Cortlandtville Elementary School.
They drew the monster (without seeing the picture!) based on our writing.

| The name of our monster
is Spikey the Devil. The head is in the shape of a red heart. (don’t
color it in yet!) She has two red devil horns on the top of her head. She
has 6 pieces of short, straight,
brown hair in between her two horns. Spikey has 2 round blue eyes. She has
four blue eyelashes on each eye. Her nose is a purple triangle. It is in the
middle of her face. Color it in purple.Her mouth is a yellow smiling half circle.
She has two pointy grey teeth on top and three pointy grey teeth on the bottom.
Color in the mouth yellow. Color her entire head red. Her body is an orange
star. She has thick horizontal orange and blue stripes going across her body.
The top point of the star is Spikeys neck. She has a green wing on each side
of her neck. Color them in green. The top two points of the star are Spikeys arms. At the end of each arm, she has 3 green pointy claws. The bottom two points of the star are her legs. Draw a blue rectangle on the end of each leg. Each rectangle has a pink bow on it. Color the rectangle blue. On the bottom of each rectangle are two pointy red nails (color the nails in red.) |
