Mrs. Rice's Class

Here is our drawing of our class monster and our written description. We emailed the description to our partner class, Mrs. Brandes' at Ben Franklin Elementary School. They drew the monster (without seeing the picture!) based on our writing. Aren't we great writers?

Monster's Name:  Macky Hacky

The monster’s body is a tall, blue oval. It is not colored in. Outline a black diamond in the middle of the body.  Color the diamond purple. Make 12 short, purple, straight lines on the outside of the diamond. Put 12 big, blue circles around the edge of the body.

The monster's head is a medium-sized diamond that is outlined in red. It is on top of the body in the middle.

The monster has red curly hair that starts at the top of the diamond and goes down to the sides of the body.

The monster has two eyes on its head.  Its eyes are purple, colored-in circles that are near the top of the diamond-shaped head. There are two more eyes outside the head, one on each of the monster’s shoulders. They are outlined in red and are medium-sized circles.  Make one black, colored-in circle in the middle of each eye. Put a purple smile under each black eyeball.

Its nose is a yellow, colored-in, vertical rectangle right between the purple eyes on the diamond-shaped head.

The monster has two ears.  They are orange, colored-in circles that are on the outside of the head near the purple eyes.

Its mouth is a red, colored-in, sideways oval near the bottom of the diamond-shaped head.

It has two arms.  They are yellow, colored-in, sideways ovals on each side of the body near the middle.  There are eight, brown, colored-in nails that are the shape of triangles on the top of each of the arms.

There are two green antennae.  They are straight, green lines right above the ears. Put a green, colored-in circle at the top of each line.

There is a hat on the top point of the diamond. It is a green, colored-in, horizontal oval with a semi-circle on the top.  There are three, straight hairs sticking up from the top of the semi-circle.
