Mrs. Doyle's Class

Here is our drawing of our class monster and our written description. We emailed the description to our partner class, Mrs. Mackey's class at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School. They drew the monster (without seeing the picture!) based on our writing. Aren't we great writers?

Mrs. Doyle's Monster

Our monster’s name is Super Torch. He is a fire-breathing dragon.

Our monster’s body is outlined in green. His body is a horizontal oval shape. He has 4 legs, and a circle shaped head attached to the upper right side of his body. His tail curves upward from the left end of his oval shaped body.

At the tip of his tail he has a cone shaped black and yellow striped stinger.

On the side of his oval shaped body he has one webbed (4 webs) purple wing.

From the top of his tail and along the top of his body he has triangular green spikes. There are eight.

On each of his green legs, he has 3 black claws.

On his body he has 11 scales. They are red and crescent moon shaped.

His head has one giant eye. It is a white circle outlined in black. There is a smaller blue circle toward the bottom half of the white circle. In the middle of the blue circle there is a small black circle.

Right below his eye, our monster has two nostrils. They are in the shape of two half circles with the straight parts facing each other.

His mouth is directly below his nostrils. It is also in the shape of a half moon, with the straight part facing up. He has four sharp white triangular shaped fangs on the top and three sharp white triangular shaped teeth on the bottom.
