Forty
four years ago,Ruby Bridges was the first black student to go to an all white
school in New Orleans. Before Ruby, black children could not go to school with
white children. Some white parents did not let their children go to school because
of Ruby. Many white people protested and yelled outside of Ruby’s school
everyday. Ruby Bridges was a very brave girl.
